David Rubin grew up in New Haven, where he attended the Hopkins School. In 1977, he graduated magna cum laude from Yale University and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He obtained his law degree from Columbia Law School in 1984.
He has focused on family law and divorce cases for his entire career. He currently has offices in Stamford and New Haven and practices in the areas of divorce, modification and custody trials as well as appeals of these cases to the Connecticut Appellate Court and Supreme Court.
